Adam M. Parin has been involved with DTI since it was founded by his father, Michael, in 1989; serving as a janitor, truck-driver, production employee, and laboratory technician during the early years of the corporation. Over the years, Adam has held various positions at DTI, including Project Engineer and Director of Operations where he oversaw the Research & Engineering and Manufacturing divisions. Today, as President and CEO, Adam utilizes his combination of technical, manufacturing, and business experience to lead the business and continuously innovate DTI’s solutions. Adam graduated with honors from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology with a BS in Mechanical Engineering (concentration in Solid Mechanics) and worked as an Engineer for Honda R&D Americas prior to returning to DTI.
Adam enjoys spending his free time with his wife, Krista, and their three boys – whether it be traveling, skiing or simply being outside. A lifelong hockey player, Adam volunteers his time coaching multiple hockey teams in the local Irish Youth Hockey League.
Tom Lewis joined the DTI team in December 1995 and is responsible for oversight of general technology at DTI as well as having responsibilities related to consulting projects and new applications. He has 41 years of experience related to structural dynamics, viscoelastic materials, and passive damping system design. Prior to DTI, Tom worked for a noise and vibration consulting company based in Cincinnati, Ohio for 16 years, working viscoelastic material research as well as many passive damping system applications.
Tom earned his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Engineering. Originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, Tom enjoys backpacking, classic Corvettes, antique Chris Craft boats, and spending time with his wife and family.
Julie Kelley joined the DTI team in June of 2020 and is responsible for global sales and marketing. She has 12 years of experience in the aerospace industry in addition to 10 years in automotive. Prior to DTI, Julie specialized in composites business development for Sekisui Aerospace, Saint-Gobain and Plascore.
Julie earned her Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan Technological University and her MBA from Grand Valley State University. Originally from Grand Rapids, MI, Julie and her family now reside in Seattle, WA. Julie enjoys hiking, swimming, fitness and traveling internationally.
Matt joined the DTI team in June of 2011 and is responsible for DTI’s Research and Engineering department. He has a background in structural dynamics and has worked extensively in consulting and product development at DTI.
Matt earned his Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Kentucky and his Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University. Matt enjoys cycling, running, travel, and spending time with his wife Melissa and their three young children.
Kevin Osborn joined the DTI team in November of 2016 and is responsible for DTI’s production operations. Kevin has 30 years of engineering and manufacturing operations experience. Prior to DTI, Kevin worked for Colson Group and L.A Darling Company.
Kevin earned his bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University and MBA from Arkansas State University. Kevin and his wife Sheila grew up in Ft Wayne, IN, raised two daughters in Arkansas and now reside in St Joseph MI. Kevin enjoys designing and building mobile and residential solar power generation and storage systems.
James joined the DTI team in February 2009 and is responsible for the Quality Management System, AS9100 compliance and continual improvement. James started as head of building maintenance and has worked his way up through the ranks, to earn his position as Quality Manager.
James is a certified Six Sigma Black Belt and is working on his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, at Indiana University. James is native to Mishawaka and enjoys camping, snowboarding, biking, traveling and spending as much time as possible with his family.
